Questions and Answers

This page is dedicated to the questions that no one asks but all would like to know

Q: Who is SEMPA?
A: The original SEMPA was made from common materials such as plasteline, LEDs, a resistor and 4 DC connectors found in Lilya´s electronics lab. He was made out of boredom while watching poor students doing their test. SEMPA always dreamed about travelling around the world, so we offered him to come with us.  Unfortunately, SEMPA has bad health and he is literally falling apart. So instead of SEMPA we took with us SEMPA junior whose pictures you will see on this site.

Q: What does SEMPA stand for?
A: SEMPA stands for Scanning Electron Microscope with Polarization Analysis, of course.

Q: Isn´t that like the garden dwarf from Amelie?
A: Yes.

Q: And who are you?
A: We are Lilya and Oren. We are two people who love to travell but didn´t get the chance to do a decent trip until now.

Q: So, what is the plan?
A: We are off to circle the globe in a year. We start with 5 months in South America (Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Peru and Bolivia), then Australia and New Zealand for 4 months and finally South East Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, India and maybe Nepal) before going back home.
